Plant HR Manager

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Leverage strong business knowledge and understanding to partners
  • Provide strategic and insightful challenges to business leaders and the HR team on all people-related subjects
  • Lead relevant HR related projects and engage business leaders to advocate and demonstrate compliance with HR policy and champion interventions
  • Develop solutions and challenge the business as appropriate to drive customer-focused innovation within HR to bring the right people solutions to the business
  • Establish and implement local HR strategies by establishing department accountabilities
  • Lead HR operations, including: recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, discipline and grievances; planning, monitoring, appraising and maintaining compensation in line with Group policy
  • Develop HR operations financial strategies 
  • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyse information and applications
  • Takes proactive approach to employee relation matters and develop collaborative relationships in an environment of continuous improvement and with employee involvement
  • Ensure plant corporate governance compliance
  • Develop a diverse and inclusive team aligned to the company’s philosophy
  • Motivates team by setting challenging and achievable goals

 

Requirements: 

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of experience in operating at HR Manager level within a manufacturing environment 
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
