Our partner is a Skandinavian company, market leader in aluminium manufacturing and renewable energy (developing natural resources into products and solutions). We are looking for:

Category Manager – HR & Finance

Responsibilities:

 

  • Procure strategic services for all manufacturing sites and corporate entities.
  • Define a strategic approach to the HR & Finance services category based on spend opportunity analysis, internal stakeholder discussions, while utilizing supply market intelligence, vendor knowledge, and sound procurement strategies. 
  • Lead negotiations with key vendors and establish long term agreements to implement the defined strategic plan.
  • Lead strategic sourcing events to establish a competitive sourcing environment for HR & Finance systems and services.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop effective cost-reduction strategies and execution plans
  • Act as a leader in managing the total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • Establish multi-annual contractual agreements with strong commercial and legal agreement terms.
  • Review and challenge current purchasing process for HR & Finance
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as required.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred focus in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, plant operations, or related fields
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools
  • Experience with Should-Cost Modeling, Total Cost of Ownership, and ROI analysis preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
  • Experience with business operating systems, i.e.: Oracle, SAP, preferred
  • Experience working within a project management environment
  • Fluent in English
